What do you need right now?
One choice at a time. Choose the purpose, timing, sound, optional coach guidance, and wake plan — then put the phone down and let the player handle the clock.
What do you need from this nap?
Start with the outcome. You can still change the time before you begin.
Set your wake plan
Choose a duration or an exact clock time.
Your timer stays honest.
Nap For starts the nap timer after optional voice settling is finished. Wake At always honors the exact clock time you chose, so settling time is included inside that window.
The running timer uses an absolute wake timestamp rather than trusting a simple decrementing interval.
Choose how you want to drift
Sound and spoken guidance are separate. Either can be used without the other.
Background sound
Coach guidance
Optional. The voice helps you settle, then gets out of the way.
Choose your gentle wake
Every option keeps the wake timer authoritative.
NASA Pilot Nap — what the research actually found
The NASA/FAA field study gave long-haul pilots a planned 40-minute rest opportunity. The pilots who slept averaged about 25.8 minutes of actual sleep. BPF's 26-minute option is evidence-inspired; it is not presented as a universal NASA prescription.

If you are still awake
During the active nap, the Still Awake button can play one brief optional reassurance cue. The app does not pretend to detect stirring or sleep stage.
After a longer nap
If you feel groggy, give yourself a few minutes. Light and gentle movement may help you feel more alert before demanding work.
