This is the one page in the program that is a hard stop. Falling asleep at the wheel is a safety emergency — for you and for everyone else on the road. Untreated sleep apnea and severe sleep debt both raise this risk sharply.
Dozed off or “micro-slept” while driving; drifted lanes or missed an exit from drowsiness; had a near-miss because you were tired; or you feel you cannot trust yourself to stay awake at the wheel. Do not drive drowsy. Arrange another way home and seek medical evaluation promptly.
Heavy eyelids or repeated yawning; trouble keeping your head up; drifting, tailgating, or missing signs and exits; not remembering the last few miles; rolling down the window or cranking music just to stay awake. These are not quirks — they are signs your brain is trying to sleep.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. This page is educational and does not replace professional medical or safety advice. © 2026 Ken Hoyer / Body Plus Fitness.
